Headed to New Orleans
4 days since I left Seattle for New Orleans and what a whirlwind it was. I started out on Monday. After a night of packing, I’m finally ready to head to the airport. I arrive at SeaTac just before 5 am and my plane boards at 5:20 am. While dropping my bags off at the counter, I discover that one of my bags is 10 pounds over the limit. Hurrying to get rid of 10 pounds, I pull a few items out and leave them behind (thanks, Mom, for sticking around). I finally get to the security line and it is longer than I have ever seen. I wasn’t sure I was going to make my plane, but I arrived at the gate just as they were boarding. THANK GOSH!
